F.A.Trophy v Ashton United

The Non-League Paper will have a photographer at tomorrow’s match as the tie is to be one of their featured picture special reports in Sunday’s edition.

Best tell young Chad to put a tie on again!!!

Photographer… not school photographer!

Thought Andy just kept his socks on for photography !

We will again be selling tickets for the Race Night during tomorrow’s game. Someone will also be coming round with a Tri-Cast, which costs just 50p per square for the chance to win £50. The rest of the money taken will go directly to the WA Development Fund.

Everyone’s continued support is appreciated.

Have just had a look at the betting for todays game, with skybet we are 1/2 for the win and Ashton are 9/2. To win the trophy outright we are 150/1

Any team news? In fact is there anyone out there?

Bill

6 - 1 Pritch Bullet header ;D

We’re too good we are! Save some goals for the next round lads!

Great start to hopefully a nice trophy run to bring some pennies in.

We were just too good for Ashton in all depts. I will give Ashton some credit, they didn’t stop running and were good for their goal in the latter stages…but…it was scant consulation as were looked like scoring every time we went forward.

Peers took his two goals superbly well, and perhaps should have had a 3rd, but for a rushed shot in the first half when he had more time. Thornley set the scene with 2 well taken goals that showed his class. Warlow showed his predatory instincts by being in the right place at the right time for his goal and Pritch’s header was typical Pritch, determined to get to the ball first and find the net.

6-1 which was a fair result, we were that good!

Bring on the next Trophy opponents!

It was just like watching Brazil !

You can’t argue with 6-1

Disapointed to concede though ;D
