AN FA tribunal will decide how much money Witton will receive as compensation for Adam Warlow.
The former Crewe Alexandra hotshot switched to Fleetwood a fortnight ago after turning down an offer to stay at Wincham Park.
The game’s governing body must now work out a fee.
“We are waiting for their verdict,” said Witton action chairman Mark Harris.
Albion are entitled to compensation for the striker, who finished as the UniBond Premier Division’s top scorer last season, as he is under 24.
They had pondered reporting their rivals to the FA after they failed to pick up the phone to warn Witton of their intention.
But, as Warlow had not signed retention forms to play in red and white for a third year, he was free to talk to the Fishermen.
A two-year deal was agreed with the Highbury club soon afterwards.
Warlow, 21, scored 60 goals in 95 appearances for Albion after switching from Crewe Alexandra - initially on loan - in June 2006.
He made that move permanent upon his release by the Railwaymen last summer.
Winger Mark Peers has since joined him at the Blue Square North newcomers for an undisclosed fee.
I wonder how much we’ll get? The selling club never seems to do well out of tribunals…
