FA Competitions 2021/22.

The draws for the opening rounds of the Emirates FA Challenge Cup, Buildbase FA Challenge Trophy & FA Youth Cup will be released on FRIDAY, 9th JULY.

Has a Witton Albion team been entered in the 2021-22 season FA Youth Cup competition? :dry:

In previous years Peter, they have used the Academy team mixed with Under 18’s but don’t know what the plan will be for the coming season yet.

Witton will begin their Emirates FA Challenge Cup campaign in the First Qualifying Round which is scheduled to take place on SATURDAY, 4th SEPTEMBER. Drawn games will go to a replay after 90 minutes.

Their Buildbase FA Challenge Trophy campaign will start in the Third Qualifying Round on SATURDAY, 30th OCTOBER. There are No replays in the competition this season.

Draws for both competitions are scheduled to be held on FRIDAY, 9th JULY and details will be announced as soon as the information is known.

Witton have also been entered into the FA Youth Cup and details will be announced as soon as the information is known.

Witton will travel to Bootle FC in the FA Youth Cup Preliminary Round in the week commencing MONDAY, 30th AUGUST.

The winners will then be at home to either Atherton Collieries or Cheadle Town in the First Qualifying Round scheduled to be played in the week commencing MONDAY, 13th SEPTEMBER.

The draw for the First Qualifying Round of the Emirates FA Challenge Cup will take place on MONDAY, 23rd AUGUST around 1pm. Witton will enter the competition at this stage with ties being played over the weekend of SATURDAY, 4th SEPTEMBER.

Details of the draw and Witton’s potential opponents will be posted on here as soon as the information is known.

Witton will travel to Bootle FC in the FA Youth Cup Preliminary Round on TUESDAY, 31st AUGUST with a 7.45pm kick off.

The tie will be played to a finish with penalties if the scores are level after normal time.

The Witton team will be made up from a mixture of the Development Squad & ESP Football Academy players and will be overseen by Witton’s ESPFA Coach Martyn Irvine.

The winners will then be at home to either Atherton Collieries or Cheadle Town in the First Qualifying Round scheduled to be played in the week commencing MONDAY, 13th SEPTEMBER.
