Know which I’d prefer but one hell of a journey oop north

Feel free to move it to Friday night
Dunston won last years FA vase but have had an indifferent start to the Northern League. The mighty Darlington smashed them 4-0 last week.
I don’t think they would be as tricky as spennymoor but their ground can be a bit of a fortress in cup comps.
Can’t see them beating Kendal but this is the cup.
Oh and their ground is right by the Metro Centre. Once europes biggest indoor shopping centre. Now its a bit of a dive although Mrs T keeps telling me they do have a huge Primark. Apparently that is how shopping centres are measured now. No Primark no good.
Dunston have had a very poor start to the season, loosing all 5 league games played so far. The Carlsberg FA Vase holders are currently bottom of the North League, in which they finished 3rd last season.
Pre-season friendlies went better with 3 wins, 2 draws and only 1 loss. One of their draws was against Blyth Spartans.
In the FA Cup they have won one, drawn one and lost one. Yes! they have lost one.
They started with a 2-0 home win against Armthorpe Welfare, but lost away to Celtic Nation in the next round 1-2. However, Celtic played an illegible player, so Dunston stayed in the compeition to draw with Kendall at the weekend. The replay will be Tuesday night.
Poor draw IMO. Both will stern tests and they’re both miles away!
I looked and looked and couldn’t find V…s on the list, surely Mr. Rushe has got them reinstated?
WHS
One for the football nerds, and perhaps not relevant, but Paul “Gazza” Gasgoine was born in Dunston on 27 May 1967. Hope they don’t have anyone half as good as him if they do get through
