After Saturday there were 12 draws in the 2nd Qualifying Round meaning that 92 names go into the hat for Monday’s 3rd Qualifying Round.
After the replays 80 clubs will be paired into 40 games to take place on Saturday 24th November (meaning our away game at Frickley will need to be postponed). Following this the 40 eventual winners are joined by the 24 Conference sides. This makes the 64 that then halve in each subsequent round, becoming 32/16/8/4/2.
The incentive to progress in the Trophy is huge, we have made £3,500 (£1,500 + £2,000) so far and the winners of the next round get a further £3,000. We are 7 games away from a Wembley final (5 rounds and 2 semi-final legs)! That dream may still be a distant one but you have to be "in it to win it"!
Here are the 92 names in that hat which includes Conference North and South who enter at this stage;

Not exactley a glamour tie but a game we really should go and win. It wont be easy but no games are when your top of the league as everyone is trying to knock you off your perch.
Anyone know when the game will be played?
I see they beat Stalybridge 3-0 away on Sat so hopefully they are better away from home![br]Posted on: November 05, 2007, 02:57:49 PM
Looking at their attendances they average 341 so far this season but that was boosted by a gate of 812 against Telford the lowest being 184, a good chance of outnumbering them them?

Not a bad draw in my book - close enough again to warrant a decent following, a new place for most fans. (were there about 10 of us there that night Chad senior when gleghorn gave us a 1-0 win over the then league leaders?)
There gates are indeed average for that level and assuming our usual 100 or so travel we’ll certainly be noticed!
May seem daft but from a bookies point of view - would they actually make us favourites?
They probably would since we are immediateley adjacent in the pyramid but we’re flying high.
I’d like to thank the FA for a fixture relatively near Loughborough, it saves on train fares.
