This Saturday 10/10/09 we have invited our Junior Team players and their families down to the game Versus Quorn.
We are running a penalty competition and treasure hunt prior to the game.
They are the future, of the football club, and we need to make them feel welcome and create a favourable family atmosphere, being mindful(language Timothy!) especially on Saturday of the amount of young people in the ground.
Going by the language used by the Colwyn Bay left back to the Linesman last Saturday it is the players who need the warning about language as well as the supporters!!
WHS.
Thanks to everyone who helped out yesterday. Phil/Scott/Jan/Dan/Ian Stanley/Bondy and Harrison in particular.
We had over 50 people extra through as a result of this promotion, the majority from the Witton U10s/U11s and U12s Teams.
It is something that we wish to build on, we are aiming to designate some of the games in November as family games, if anyone wants to help out or has involvement with any of the local schools or youth organisations, then get in touch and we’ll make sure we involve you.
Great success yesterday Andy. Well done to you, and all the people who helped you.
I did mention it to the officials and Quorn’s Secretary before the game, and as such could they try and control the language on the pitch. Obviously, it fell on deaf years with regards Dougie Keast, their manager.
