KICKING ON
A Fans’ Forum will take place next Wednesday (5th December) at 7.30pm in the Social Club. The theme of the evening will be ‘Kicking On’ and is intended to explain how supporters can help the club achieve its short, medium and long term ambitions.
Having made an excellent start the 2012/13 campaign following promotion last May, plans are in place to ensure that the club has the infrastructure to progress both on and off the field. At the same time Witton Albion has a unique opportunity to cement its position as the #1 team in Northwich. However, as chairman Mark Harris and manager Brian Pritchard will explain, we need all hands on deck if we are to realise our hopes and ambitions.
Amongst the topics for discussion will be:-
· Where we are now
· Where we want to be
· What we’re doing about it
· How you can help – including Junior Albs and club events
· Volunteers required
As always, this is your opportunity to contribute, make your views known and ask any questions of the chairman and manager.
I urge as many fans as possible turn out to this, lots of things on and off the pitch. WHS that includes you, come and ask the questions and get some answers to the points you keep posting on the guardian website

My new year resolution will be :- Less pontification here and more action @ WP .

Yes well attended and good to have a board who are honest and hard working and communicate with the fans and are prepared to listen to views, the only concern I had was what actual actions came out of the meeting ? It’s no good talking about doing something it has to be done, if we have several good ideas then we need to focus on the ones that we believe we can deliver and put a time frame and focus effort into it, I guess the issue as ever is the same people putting the effort in one of the key messages was if you can help in any way give time or donate then talk to any board member and offer your support, as mark said. Have a window of opportunity to cement our position as the number 1 team in the town UTA
