Farsley Celtic vs Witton Albion.

Witton are on the road again on Saturday afternoon when they travel to leaders Farsley Celtic in an Evo-Stik Premier Division fixture. The game represents their fourth away game in their last five outings. Farsley have won their previous four games and will be looking to continue that form but Witton have been rather productive on their travels and are more than capable of getting a result in West Yorkshire. Last season’s meeting at Throstle Nest saw Witton return home with a very hard fought point and who’s to say that they can’t repeat that or even go one better. The fixture at Wincham Park earlier in the season saw an entertaining encounter with Albion leading twice before the visitors late goal clinched the points in dramatic fashion. Witton will be buoyed by an excellent result at Workington on Tuesday night, a game played in atrocious conditions and also, players being unavailable for various reasons made the result look even better as it widened the gap between Witton and the teams at the bottom. A mid-table position is looking much better than a few weeks ago and they will be looking to build on that in the coming weeks. The form of striker Will Jones has been a major factor in recent weeks and Farsley will need to keep a close eye on him but then, they themselves have players who will also need watching. Kick off at Throstle Nest is 3pm.
