I live in Cambridgeshire these days so getting to the games is nigh on impossible. But once a Wittoner, always a Wittoner, and I follow every minute via the web.
Folks around here think I’ve got a screw loose when I talk about the Albs, but it’s just in the blood. And you are SO right, ME - always proud to be a Wittoner, but especially proud after a great performance and result like today.
Even if we don’t make the playoffs we’ve had a great season, and Pritch and the boys have done the club proud. bowdown

What a performance today, absolute magic!
Massive massive credit to the players today and regardless of where we finish I am so proud of each and every one of them after that today. Game plan played to perfection and just battled from 1st to last minute.
Special mention to the two centre halves Harrison and Joseph who were like a brick wall today. Also, how the hell did Tucky score from that angle? Incredible finish and performance from him!
Captain Sheens led by example and let’s be honest everyone just gave their all.
New lad who came on up front I was impressed with and had a look of Adam warlow about him, think he will get better.

great result from a great team. pritch got the tactics spot on today. well done to all. let’s all get down to the h4h stadium on tuesday and CHEER the lads on to a play off place, after all you know what happened the last time. seriously we have nothing to fear, we can beat anyone in this league if we play to our potential. i just hope we can keep this team together for years to come, what glory they could bring to the mighty albion.
Today’s results have shown that this play off race has got a few twists in it still.
The steam train that was Fylde wobbled, Rushall can’t stop drawing, FC can beat the lesser teams but struggled. Watch out for Buxton though!!
I wouldn’t fear anyone if we get that playoff place, home or away. If we played with the same heart and passion as this game we are a match for any team in this league.
Ben and Marc J were awesome today as was Sheens. Andrews did his job well protecting a clearly struggling Gards. But last word for Jason Oswell who came on and looked a real find.
Absolutely fantastic performance yesterday, we battled and fought for every ball.
Shaun Tuck had his best game in a Witton shirt. He ran at their bulky defenders and scared the life out of them, scoring a fantastic goal for his efforts.
A special mention to Big Ben and Big Marc at the back too, absolute rocks the pair of them.
Well done to everyone involved with the club yesterday ,a massive result that has to be taken into the remaining games . This side fear noone and will do it .
Pritch got all the tactics right yesterday , timing of subs worked perfectly . A very professional job. The supporters were amazing and outshouted the home crowd. Proud to be a Wittoner
Agree with all that has been said a superb battling performance. Tuck ran his heart out and as said he had their back four constantly on the back foot. Sheens had a very composed head and broke up a lot of play whilst starting plenty of attacks of our own. Harrison and Joseph looked quite the centre half pairing and Andrews was up and down the wing attacking the fc full back at every opportunity whilst also covering Gards when needed.
Strangely I think we’ve actually played much better than yesterday this season and sometimes for less reward but no doubt the better team won. On to Tuesday and our latest ‘cup final’. Loud and proud Tuesday and I think the players will reward our singing/shouting.
Not a lot more I can add to the comments really, I was abit pessimistic after the Nantwich game to be honest but now I am buzzing can’t wait for Tuesday!
To the game well the effort put in by every single player was immense, not one player came off that pitch without looking completely shattered. Must say though I thought that Matty Wood was MOM for me they couldn’t handle his pace, their back four were shocking that number 5 AWFUL!
Woke up with a lovely hangover today but didn’t mind one bit! What a great performance from the fans and i suppose the players did ok too :laugh: same again on tuesday. COME ON WITTON
Wow, what a performance!
I don’t post on here very often but feel compelled to after that. From front to back we were absolutely outstanding, each and every player put a huge shift in and worked their socks off for the club, the management, the fans, and themselves. So many fantastic individual performances but have to single out Ben Harrison and Marc Joseph. They were absolutely outstanding and dealt with the threats of FCUM whether the ball was in the air or on the floor. Special mention to Tuck and Andrews as well who ran, and ran, and ran, and ran! A lot was said after the Nantwich game, some of it justified, and some of it not but I think the support was plain for all to see on Saturday. What a racket the travelling 121 made! Tuck’s goal was one of the moments of the season so far and the noise throughout the game was the best since the play off final. It’s important that we don’t get carried away but we need to continue to believe. Another 3 points tomorrow night and who knows…
Im still buzzing from this game, every player gave 100% and we couldnt pick a man of the match on the coach back.
The support was outstanding and many FC fans have commented on how loud the Witton support was! Can we be that loud on Tues night in another crucial game? I hope so
