What a difference a week makes!! Thought the tactics were spot on today with us letting them have the ball at the back and pouncing as soon as they tried to play through midfield. Everyone played there part but thought Marc Joseph organised the back 4 fantastically and everyone ran their socks off!
All the results have gone our way today so bring on Tuesday… Well done to all the players and staff today
Excellent, professional performance. Thought Ben & Marc Joseph were superb today and good to have Gards back.
The players & management got their just rewards today.

A grand day out, lads played really well and deserved the win great support throughout and
Iots to enjoy the zigga zigga sing off, the tuck song but mostly taking all 3 points, well done everyone today just brilliant.
Super, Super performance from our boys. Could have been 3 or 4 goals to the good at half time and then more chances late on. The Rebels can’t complain about this result it was well deserved.
But it was more than just a big result. It was about whether we had the bottle to go and put a marker down for the play offs after that naff result an Nantwich.
we did all that and more - all to play for now! This result won’t be lost on the other top 6 teams either.
Happy days !!!
Great result, could have been more if not for two one on ones that we didnt make the most of. That’s now 3 and a bit games we’ve played against them and apart from brief spells we’ve been the better side. Nothing to fear imho in the play offs, if we make it.
Good to see Pritch listening to the forum and playing Tuck
Seriously though, great performance from all the lads, and Joseph looks settled and a bit of quality.
What a wonderful day to be a Wittoner! :cheer: Everyone worked their socks off and despite a bit of late pressure I thought we were good value for the three points, we could have been two or three up early doors. First time I have seen Marc Joseph but he looks a real class act and won every ball that went anywhere near him. Think that was the most organised I’ve seen us all season, they never really looked like scoring despite having much more of the ball second half. Lovely day, nice few beers around Bury and watching the Albs play like that made for a fantstic day. Shall be having a few more in celebration tonight guinness UTA
That has to be one of the best away results of the entire season. Chorley away was great for an hour , but then we had to hang on. Today, after absorbing an early amount of pressure I thought we were always comfortable. Loads of great performances, but the two centre backs were especially awesome! FCUM hit long shots and pumped it high and we said ta very much and should have had more on the break. I was very concerned after Nantwich but Pritch and the boys did us proud today. Keep the faith, and on to the next challenge. UTA.
Proud to be a Wittoner today everyone played their part. We are a little club but with a big heart.
