Today I overheard a certain supporter criticising several supporters for not being at the game (not for the first time). This club has been ripped at the seams since a certain convicted racist footballer took to social media and called for the deaths of innocent children. (I won’t apologise for stating facts).
This season has seen some shoots of recovery and a little more interaction between the two sides of the ‘divide’, however today made me realise that that’s clearly not the case.
How dare somebody have interests outside of Witton Albion FC?! How dare they live a life that doesn’t completely revolve around a football club!
At times I absolutely hate what this club has become, but if people want to continue with the whole ‘us and them’ attitude feel free, but prepare yourself for Cheshire League football in about 10 years… Because that’s where we’ll end up.
In terms of what we saw on the pitch, the less said the better. What an absolute mess.
Cant blame Sully, he picks the players from a squad of players who aren’t good enough for this league, we look and play like a side a few leagues below our position and to be honest we wont be in this league much longer.
Why change the Manager again? We could have Alex Ferguson or Mourinho and this lot wont improve
Totally agree Left Legger I myself heard people mentioning that a certain person wasn’t there, for me it’s pathetic the amount of times I have heard people say “you aren’t a Witton fan I have been to places you haven’t even heard of” or “I have supported Witton longer than you (yes because your 20 years older than me clown)” who cares whether you have watched Witton once or a million times, we all support Witton end of!!! Bored of all this non sense if I am honest, think maybe people not drinking all day may help?

Spot on. I recall not so long ago WHS and CJ saying what a wonderful squad Pritch had left. Lol :pinch:
More than the result today im annoyed by a bunch of nobodys slagging off life long wittoners when they’ve not got a clue what they’re talking about.
Enjoy your tepinyaki.
It’s ‘Vics’. “Vic’s” is possessive. What does Vic own exactly?! If you’re going to come onto a Witton Albion forum and post messages that are bound to get an aggressive reaction from some, at least be grammatically correct about it.

You can blame Sully for signing a forward then bringing on two reserves before his new signing when we are 4-0 down and you can blame Sully for playing players out of position. We have time to sort this???

Maybe im out of order, but it seems people only come so they can slag others off. P or no P

I wasn’t at the game today (thankfully) as I was working, does this make less of a Witton fan?
The entire Slagging people off for not being at Witton is cringeworthy, embarrassing and downright stupid.
Are certain “fans” first thought after we’re getting beat, well let’s slag off people who aren’t here.
As I say thankfully I wasn’t there today but the one thing I don’t understand is the entire different shape of the team a week after our first win since September!? Granted players are missing but that doesn’t mean we must play people out of position. But yes the less said of today the better!
Forget about today and move on, huge game next Saturday.
Was that me? It was sarcastic but reading all the crap on here tonight makes me realise this is all so pathetic that from now on il not bother watching Witton
