Great performance overall. Disappointed with the first FC goal; another corner, headed on easily and a tap in on the second ball. We played well after that though, Powell’s header was as good as the Ronaldo one that everybody loved last week, and the final goal was some lovely one touch football.
Impressed with Meadowcroft and Powell. Powell seems strong for such a wiry lad. Didnt hear the FC team so perhaps they rested a few, but so did we, and they were on a good run of 7 wins in 8 I think.
We look to be getting back into the groove and played some lovely football tonight B)
Really good game with both sides trying to play good football. After the first 20mins in which FC held the upper hand I thought we played some great stuff and were worthy winners. Both sides had changes but also played strong teams - I reckon both weren’t that far off being full strength squads. Really impressed with Michael Powel he topped a MOM performnce with a great headed goal. I think he could be a big player for us. He certainly has some class. Having said that, the whole team worked their socks off for each other and the will to win was more than evident especially from Tucky with 2 great strikes !
I thought we played well tonight, Meadowcroft looks to be bedding in nicely and Powell looks a great addition to the squad.
Attendance was 382, I thought I’d scooped the guessing prize with 379, but then Mookie went and said 380, disgrace!
Good game to watch tonight. Quite a slow first 15 minutes but once we got hold of the ball after that there was some decent moves and we looked the stronger side throughout the game. I thought we played some great passing moves in tight areas at times which was good to see again as well as breaking the play up quicker.
Powell looks a very good addition and his goal was a great header which left the keeper with no chance. He also looked very comfortable on the ball which will no doubt benefit us for the rest of the season.
A good game and a good performance tonight, the lads are looking something like themselves again now. 4 top notch goals from us and not for a couple of indecisive moments at the back the scoreline could have been more flattering. There’s been a big difference in form between witton and fc this year so to knock them out of the cup can only do good things for confidence, moral etc. COME ON WITTON
Agree with everything that’s been said. Great game of football shame more of us didn’t turn up, you missed a cracker. Powell looks like a quality player and Meadowcroft gave a commanding performance at the back. Also loved olly James’ turns tonight who knew he that in his locker?

Powell looked a different class last night and looks a top signing. Was a joy to watch every single player chasing down every ball - work rate was superb.
Meadowcroft certainly looked better last night and seems to be settling in now. Great goals & celebrations from Tucker.
We have alot of home games coming up in March so need to get a run together now and make it an exciting end to the season.

a very good performance from the lads, every player gave 110% and earned a place in the next round with a gutsy display against a very good side, backed by their brilliant and voiciferous fans. powell really looks to be a supreb signing and meadowcroft is certainly doing the business now that he has got a few games under his belt. just shows what a good manager pritch is turning out to be with signings like these at this stage of the season. so let’s get down to h4h stadiumin march for the glut of home games we have and roar the albion on to a plkay off position. this team deserves our support, so come on let’s do it. come on witton.
There is a debate on twitter as to who got e third goal. Was it Tuck or was it Andrews?
From the main stand it looked like Tucker got it and he certainly celebrated like he had but there’s a call to have it looked at by the dubious goals panel. Since e NPL doesn’t have one I guess the panel would be those behind the goal.
Word of warning though, Tuck REALLY wants it to be his…
