Forward Peter Wright signed for the club last month on a ‘non-contract’ basis, meaning that he was not contracted to play solely for Fleetwood Town. We have just been advised by the Lancashire FA that, whilst playing in a five-a-side game for another team earlier this week, he was involved in a serious breach of discipline and, as a result, he is likely to be ‘suspended for the foreseeable future’.

It appears that the rumour on The Fleetwood forum is that he has headbutted the ref, if this is the case then he could well have played his last competitive match for anyone!
