Has Ashley young now won the title of biggest cheat in the premier league this season after todays 10/10 dive ? ps Fergie is using his squad so well, Halsey looks as fresh as a daisy
No Suarez is still way out in front for the biggest cheat in the prem
âHe cheats, he dives, he hates the Jackson 5, Luis Suarezâ
Itâs a part of the modern game unfortunately every team does it. At the same time is someone who fouls an opponent and gets away with it any better? Still cheating to gain there team an unfair advantage. Iâm not a fan of either they both happen week in week out.
Bloody Hell CJ thatâs rich coming from a scouser with Luis Suarez in the team!
I thought Saurez was good but Young is outstanding mind you he does have refs in tow as well
Have they got Tom Daley as their diving coach ??
I do hate diving and playacting eg rolling over 5 times after a tackle until the player gets booked it is one of the worst parts of modern football
But when the FA reject the likes of Shaun Derryâs appeal, they are just saying itâs ok for players to dive.
As much as I hate it that is modern football today. Give me 20 years ago and much further back when football was a decent, honest mans (or womans #be pc) game anyday! The standard of football in the premier league is excellent without doubt but the diving, cheating etc is more and more becoming a WWE mirror and I cringe watching it sometimes. Too many money people involved nowadays have no backgorund or real interest in football. Many of the fifa/uefa board being prime examples and thats where is stems from
Terrible dive yesterday, which he didnt have to do. Weâd have stuffed them anyway and this just gives everyone an excuse to have a dig.
As for the Derry decision, there was slight contact. It obviously wasnât even a yellow but the FA appeals board arenât there to judge whether or not it was a foul. Thatâs down to the refereeâs interpretation, and while he got it wrong, his decision is final. If we start to mess with that prinicple, refâs lose any authority theyâve got left.
PS the worst decision yesterday was from Martin Atkinson. Absolutely astonishing that he can give that goal.
I think it became noticeable in our game when Jurgen the German graced our league. Some of the best rolling round and "swan"dives Iâve ever seen.
Francis Lee started it!
There should be a big awards ceremnoy at the end of the season embarrassing all the cheats and divers.
I nominate this one for the âWorst dive of the Yearâ category.

Jesus, he nearly takes his leg off. Evra is a nasty piece of work.
Punish obvious dives with a 10 week ban.
WHS.

What about obvious fouls would that be 10 weeks too? Just as bad, maybe worse if they injure an opponent.
The problem is nobody can say with any certainty that Young wasnât fouled. And nobody can prove beyond doubt that he exaggerated the fall. (Not saying he didnât, but proving it is different). It would be easy to appeal, and win.
Carroll also dived against Newcastle, but he can easily argue he lost his balance and fell over (probably the jaeger bombs) and how do you prove otherwise?
Theyâll never be able to prove more than one or two blatant ones, so thereâs no real point in pursuing them. All you can ask is that the manager has a word and drops them. In Fergieâs case, I reckon he will do it, but then he has Nani to replace him. Not everyone is so fortunate to be able to drop players without disadvantaging the team.
