Bumped into our former centre-half, Graham Abel, at a party last weekend. Remembers his time at Witton very fondly and thought the supporters were good & a great pitch.
We didn’t discuss his previous non-league club!!

Great guy and retired from the game following the final game of the disastrous - off the field anyway - 97/98 season.
Number One in the Albion A-Z list of players that I’m hoping to feature is some format soon, either in the programme, on the website or even both.
And I’m guessing Alan Zelem who played in goal when we beat Halifax in the F.A .Cup because Keith Mason was suspended will be the last on the list?
Sorry if I’ve spoiled the ending!
Good spot had forgot all about that ! Keith mason now there was a great goalkeeper.
Nicky Platt has just assisted for Salford against the Class of 92.

Former Albion defender Cliff Moyo has left Trafford to join Nantwich Town.
Steve “Fozzie” Foster has rejoined Radcliffe Borough eight years after he last played for the club.
Ian Howard has joined Atherton Collieries
Iain Howard has now joined V*cs.
thought you could only play for 3 clubs in a season, thats his fourth.
Think that just applies in the Welsh league, Shaun Tuck fell foul of the rule after signing for Bangor City but as he had already played for us and Vauxhall Motors it fell through
Ah but it’s V*cs, the rules of football, AND the laws of the land do not apply to them! bangwall
There were rumours that another reason why Shaun Tuck left Bangor was because their fans kicked up against it.
It’s only 3 clubs when they’re contracted. If it’s non contracted they can play for more.
Carl Mccauley has left Marine
Shame that always liked Carl did fancy him as Witton mgr one day
Still time !
