Sad to hear of the passing of former Albion defender Barry Hartle at the age of 85.
Although Barry passed away in January, his death only appeared in the Stalybridge programme at the weekend.
Salford-born Barry joined the club in 1975 from Buxton, having previously played for Watford, Sheffield United, Carlisle United, Oldham Athletic, Stockport County, Southport and Macclesfield Town.
He made 44 appearances for the Albion scoring once against Horwich RMI before joining Hyde United in 1977 where he made three appearances before retiring.
