Unless there are any injuries same team as last week I think - Wilson did ok and he needs games. I will be vacating my armchair once again so if any of u sad pre-Xmas absentees require it u can 'ave it.
Got to agree with you Eli, it’s Wilson again for me. If we can do a straight swap for Peers and not disrupt the rest of the team then it makes sense
I shall be making the 10mile trip from wakefield to the lovely place that is south elmsall, home of frickley :o i just wondered how many are making the trip as i know its the xmas party same day and its not the most inviting of fixtures but i really dont fancy standing on the coal hill by myself ;D
There will be a decent number making the trip i’m sure.
Decent pub called the Barnsley Chop on the outskirts of South Elmsall if you come in via the M62/A1 turn off as if you were heading towards Doncaster. They do Real ale and Real Food. I think me and my car load are going to try it out again anyway as a pre Christmas celebration.
I appreciate and take into account everyone’s views on the team but I would go for Kearney right back and Coo pushed up wide to use his pace to try and get round the back of them. We did n’t manage this consistently against Stamford and I just think Kearney is an awesome player anyway plus his strength and height will be usefull against their physical challenge. We must try and get the 3 points and maintain the pressure on those just behind us but I appreciate this will not be easy it never is for us somehow against Frickley!!
As opposed to False Food?!?
Barnsley chop sounds good il head there for 1ish, gonna be a tough game as frickley have found a bit of form lately, i heard a few weeks back that a certain neil redfearn is playing for them so if thats true should make for a few good songs ;D see ya saturday x
Refearn has moved on (to Bridlington i think), but we do owe Frickley a beating for last year.
Theirs is another "Stadium".
Their website is still saying the Buxton game might be off so I suppose we will have to wait for Graham’s update on the likelihood of the game going ahead.
If it does there must be a risk of hypothermia standing around on their exposed piece of wasteland.
Greenie, don’t forget your hat.
Oh the hat will be there. Or maybe I will go with something a little more seasonal…
It is a bit warmer this morning and the forecast says it will be milder Saturday. Hopefully it might thaw but the impression I get is that ruddy great slag heap thing stops the sun getting onto the ground. Fingers crossed that its on as its another game we could do with getting out of the way and another game nearer to getting Peersie back in the fold!!
Im sure the game will be on as its a lovely mild day in yorks im out working in a t shirt! got a shock when i visited the frickley website as i thought they had moved to a different stadium! doesnt look that bad from the pic, mind u it has been taken from the top of the coal heap so its a fair distance away and amazingly its been taken on a sunny day! sun in frickley whatever next see u tomorrow guys safe journey x
