A win would have been great but a point away and a clean sheet is never a bad thing.

I used to watch the wrestling on ITV at 4pm but yesterday was able to watch it live.
The ref was slated by both sides but Frickley were the main beneficiaries of his ineptitude.
Having said that there was a nasty exchange at the end of the first half which could have ended in 2 red rather than 1 yellow card.
Considering the agricultural pitch and blatantly bad decisions (no advantage played as we were already counter attacking after a Frickley offside flag) a draw was not a bad result.
There was plenty of effort and at times some excellent football but we didn’t threaten their goal enough. No wonder Chris Simm got frustrated in the second half.

Phew. What a struggle that was. Tried to play neat passing football first half, but on that egg-box pitch we continually fell foul of mislaid passes. We were unfortunate not to score first half. Things changed 2nd half after Frickley engineered the fracas at the end of the first half, they came out 2nd half and pretty much dominated. Thoughts Coops and Ben were immense, as the whole team had to defend manfully as the game progressed. Can’t be too disappointed with a draw away at one of our rivals.

Good to see some grit and determination. I’m sure of we can get some support up alongside Simmo we’ll be OK

Oh yes, the officials were a joke!

I didn’t go so carn’t comment upon the game however it does sound as if we had a real battle on our hands for the point. Still, a point away at our (im sad to say) “rivals” is good but its 3 we needed and without quality strikers its going to be a monumental battle to stay in this league. SBL

I think most people would agree that Simm is quality and Bakkor is a huge prospect. So we should be ok in that respect.

I do so hope that you are right??? because if you are not YOU KNOW WHAT WILL INEVITABLY HAPPEN AND NO ONE WANTS THAT,I HOPE ???. Given how everyone involved did so much to get us back into the league that we are in and how close close close we were to playing Conference North football from last seasons play offs!!!..Hendersford have coped admirably and that could have been us???

Given the position we are in, we require the loan of a proven football league striker end off SBL
