Gary Finley, manager of UniBond League Premier Division club Witton Albion, who embarks on his first full season in charge at Wincham Park, begins with virtually a brand new squad of players. <br><br>Finley (pictured) joined Albion last November from Vauxhall Masterfit Retailers Welsh Premier side Total Network Solutions, where he had been playing, but he previously enjoyed a successful three-year spell with Aberystwyth Town from 2001 to 2004 during which time, from his position as player-manager, he guided the coastal outfit into Europe and their best league season for 25 years. <br><br>Goalkeeper Jon Kennedy was an early summer coup acquisition from Nationwide Conference National side Accrington Stanley, while former Liverpool winger Mark Peers from Conference National newcomers Southport and Tom Spearritt from league rivals Runcorn FC Halton, were also early signings. <br><br>They have since been joined by a whole host of other, mainly youthful recruits. <br><br>Promising young striker Leon Williams arrives from Runcorn FC Halton where he had been since the summer of 2004 after joining the Linnets from local football. <br><br>Three more promising youngsters in Craig Ward (Warrington Town), Gavin Smith (Northwich Victoria) and Gary Pinch (Southport) have been signed on UniBond forms, while former Southport midfielder Liam Maguire arrives from league rivals Marine <br><br>Forward Andy Lee comes in from Nationwide North outfit Droylsden, where he had been since last August when he joined from Welsh Premier side Aberystwyth Town where he played under Finley. <br><br>Lee has also played at Wakefield-Emley having started out with Bradford City. <br><br>Billy Hurley (Winsford United) and Kieron Clarke (Nantwich Town) have been handed an opportunity to show their worth at the higher level, while two youngsters, Richard Bailey and Michael Cartner, released by local Football League sides Macclesfield and Stockport respectively, have also been signed after impressing in pre-season. <br><br>Forward Michael Meszaros, 19, became the latest to join from Nationwide North newcomers Hyde United where he had been a first-team player for the last three seasons since coming through the youth ranks <br>
