Disappointed to hear Len has stopped doing the 200 Club. Fully understand his reasons, but surely someone is able to step into his shoes? Also on my first visit to Wincham park, no golden goal, predictions, raffle etc. Money raising opportunities going astray.
I understand there was no tea hut due to illness but shouldn’t contingency plans be in place for this eventuality?
Believe me, If I lived closer I would be all over this.
If I can help in any way from a distance please let me know.
UTA!
You are so right Eddie.
It is getting harder and harder to make ends meet as the band of volunteers keeps getting smaller and smaller. I’ll say no more, as I just keep getting put down on here when I try and raise awareness of this problem. If anybody feels they can take over from Len and keep the 200 club going, we will all be very appreciative. Len has done such a fantastic job in setting this all up, it will be a travesty if it does not continue. Big thanks to the work Len has done!!!
Quite right Thatch. The work Len has done over the years has been above and beyond. Along with the other volunteers he has kept this club afloat over the last few years.
So, here’s another appeal to the next generation of volunteers - let’s get behind the club in any small way possible. Anyone can help from students to recently retired ( no names! )
We have a massive opportunity to grow the infrastructure of this club, so let’s keep the plates spinning, because once they stop, it’s so much harder to get things back up and running again.
C’mon then … who’s going to take over the running of the 200 club???
