I would like to thank all at Witton Albion for their condolences on the death of my father, Fred Horrigan. I know how upset he was when he could no longer come and watch the team that he has followed since the 1920’s. I no longer live near to Witton Albion but always look for their results in my newspaper. I will miss dad’s reports on the matches. My grandfather, Fred Horrigan snr. took me to watch Witton Albion way back in 1950 when I was a strapping 4 year old, and I regularly watched the Albion until I left the area in 1967.
Good Luck for the coming season, and hopefully a few trophies to show too.
