If our FA had any guts they would ignore FIFA and put the poppy on the shirts. Everyone in this country acknowledges the debt we owe to ALL the people who fought in the World Wars, there would be no FIFA if it hadn’t been for these brave man and women, I stay STUFF FIFA and put the poppy on the shirts and tell them to do their worst.

The FA are a spineless, hypocritical bunch with no real direction. They couldn’t wait to ban Rooney for swearing and are now amazingly trying to get a ban reduced for the same player in respect of a foul for which a ban is wholly deserved. They are utter cretins, much like those at FIFA, so I wouldn’t expect anything from them.
The players themselves can make a point about this, by refusing to play. I suspect that the possession stats will show this protest to be successful.
Both FIFA and the FA are totally out of touch and disgraced organisations, corrupt, inept and not in it for the love of the game its big business and powerful people get in charge to wield that power ? not a good format, Footballl needs an overhaul from top to bottom even local FA s have a bad agenda and are self serving and preserving. 
There is nothing to stop the players themselves pinning a poppy to their shirts to show their disgust with FIFA and the FA. Time for decent minded people to make a stand, but don’t hold your breath!!

That is EXACTLY why our FA should ignore the ruling but the cowardly bunch won’t, they are not fit to make a ruling on an issue that commemorates REAL heroes. I still say the players, as individuals have every right to wear a poppy on their shirts and should do, but as they only play for money not honour I can guarantee none of them will, too frightened of losing a few weeks wages.
