Garforth Town vs Witton Albion

Team news & latest score updates will appear here as and when they become available.

Come on Witton let’s bring back 3 points B)

Team news: Witton make three changes to the starting line-up that came away from Ossett with three valuable points. Ben Harrison misses tonight’s game following a bout of concussion at the weekend so Brian Pritchard partners skipper Ian Kearney in the centre of the defence. Dean Ennion and Josh Hancock come into midfield in place of Dave MacPherson & Fraser Ablett respectively. Ablett drops to the bench whilst caretaker-manager MacPherson isn’t in the squad.

Cooper, Wood, Doughty, Pritchard, Kearney, O’Sullivan, Ennion, Hancock, Kinsey, Frost, Botham.

Subs: Tomkinson, Gardner, Smith, Ablett.

There was a possibility of a delayed kick-off as some of the Witton players were stuck in traffic en route to Garforth but, it is now confirmed that the game will start on time.

Any explanation for the lack of Macca?
That’s a blow.

I have heard that it’s a back injury but can’t confirm that.

From carrying Foulkes?

A decent point with a bit of a scratch side out.

Shame we didnt take 3 points from Trafford. It’s the only blip on an otherwise decent run of results.

Did say it would not be easy but as Robbo says decent point considering the line up. All 3pts would have put us in a good position and Bamber Bridge are now looking a threat in the 5th spot battle !

FANtastic!? more “Wittoners” prattling on about last nights game at Garforth than bothered to turn up,you should have been there “Brian Pritchards Red and White Nine!!”

A gritty performance last night from all the players. There wasn’t 1 who didn’t give 100%. Their effort and endevour carn’t be faulted. There were noticible injuries to two players which I suspect will keep them out for a month or so if not longer. (I maybe wrong). MoM I’d go for Pritchard.

Garforth have a great set up. Good facilities good pitch etc but a b****y long way for a night match! SBL
