For anybody official from the club reading this, Thelwall is shut North and South bound, Barton Bridge is also shut for high sided vehicles, and there are delays on the bypass and M56. Could be a long journey
Been in contact with the coach company and have downsized to a 53 seater due to the weather problems. Everyone that has booked will get on.
They are aware of the issues with the motorways.
The weather in Gateshead is sunny, not as windy as here (yet) and the pitch is very playable.

I can’t help but be reminded of Spurs near-miss with qualifying for the Champions League the other season. They struggled with bad guts, and now we are struggling with bad wind… 
Yes after 3 hours and 30 minutes in a gridlock near Antrobus trying to get to Warrington, I gave up and headed back home.Traffic should be easier by the time the coach leaves as M6 is due to open.
