Leaders Leek Town’s 3-0 win against Stalybridge Celtic means they can secure the title if they beat Newcastle Town on Monday.
Decent results for us. Both Nantwich and Stalybridge would have gone above us if they’d won, whilst Trafford’s 95th minute equaliser keeps Bootle within range. I do wish we weren’t up against the bottom pair this weekend though, don’t know what it is but we have a track record of failing in important games against lowly opposition. Hope my fears are completely unjustified!
