Good Luck Lads!

As we go into the most cruciual 4 games of the season (and prob in recent years) I wanted to use this thread for good luck messages to the team. I’m sure some of the lads and Jim look at the forum so think it would be great if they had plenty of good luck messages and encouragement! Feel free to post!

We can and WE WILL achieve promotion there is no doubt in my mind so lets stay positive and roar the boys home.

C’MON YOU MIGHTY REDS

Like the thread said, good luck!

Everyone who has been watching this season know what a fantastic squad we have and it would mean so much to so many people if we could erase the memories of last year and have our hands on that trophy!!

Luck doesn’t come into it.

We have the best collection of players in this league, so let’s go out and show it.

Are we really calling Witton “the Reds” now? The chant of Red Army at the Fleetwood game did my head in. I sing louder than most before anyone accuses me of 'not getting behind the team!! Just think it’s a crap nickname for a team that does not play in red. We are famous for our Red ‘n’ White stripes - Sheff Utd, Southampton, Sunderland etc are never referred to as the Reds for this very reason.

Anyway, can only make the Frickley game between now and the end of the season so will be going mental for that one!

Come on Witton!

We’ve sang ‘Red Army’ for as long as i can remember. It’s a great chant.

I’ve been going Witton on and off since 1988 and I haven’t heard it sung that much.

Do you really think it’s a great chant?

One song sung by many clubs that I think we could adopt is this one:

From the banks of the river Weaver
To the shores of Runcorn beach
We’re gonna fight fight fight for the Albion
To reach the football league
To hell with Altrincham, to hell with Northwich Vics - They’re sh1t!
We’re gonna fight fight fight for the Albion
To reach the football league

I know it’s old and sung by many but, in my opinion, it’s better than the Man U chant of Red Army.

Red Army is a fantastic chant that everybody can join in with, and it really gets the crowd going.

Whilst watching the videos at the Wembley '92 night I noticed that it was used during that campaign, so has obviously been around for a while!

The 15 minute rendition vs Matlock in the play offs last season was fantastic.

Good luck boys we will be there with you for the next 4 games cheering you onto victory. We have to do it this time round surely. Need 100% from every player next 4 games. Cant wait for Guisely!

Come on Albion!!!

Good luck from me!

Lets make sure we are all wishing good luck DURING the match on Saturday though as well!

Good posting Greg - Good luck boys we know u want it just as much as we do, the looks on your faces after the Fleetwood defeat said it all.

Not happy with calling out “Red Army” I hate United with a vengeance. Can I just shout "Come on the Albs? Will be there for the midweek game, in Birmigham to see my son and grandson on Saturday. God, I do hope this team and its supporters get what the deserve this time. Glad to say that it looks like Vics will stay up, so another successless season for them to look forward to next year. I wonder how many seasons these new owners will hang about for? One thing is for sure, we are the team of the Town now, our club is owned by Wittoners not “Jack the Lads”.
COME ON THE ALBS!!!
WHS.

Good luck lads
The fans will be their every game to cheer you on. So come on witton lets win this league:)

RED ARMY RED ARMY:blush:

Luck refers to that which happens beyond a person’s control. This view incorporates phenomena that are chance happenings, a person’s place of birth for example, but where there is no uncertainty involved, or where the uncertainty is irrelevant. Within this framework one can differentiate between three different types of luck:

Constitutional luck, that is, luck with factors that cannot be changed. Place of birth and genetic constitution are typical examples.

We win our games, we’re champions.

Circumstantial luck, that is, luck with factors that are haphazardly brought on. Accidents and epidemics are typical examples.

We win our games, we’re champions.

Ignorance luck, that is, luck with factors one does not know about. Examples can be identified only in hindsight.

We win our games, we’re champions.

Good luck to the lads and to all of us Witton supporters and fans.Good luck to all the staff paid and unpaid.
Good luck, good luck and good luck many times over.
Now come on ! We can see the finishing post.
Come WITTON.
Red army,red army !!!:cheer:

PS No matter how much you hate united WHS,they have not bought the copyright to the phrase !!!

BORING HELL ROBINSON!!!

By wishing the team luck for the remaining games, we are simply doing just that! ‘Good luck’ by the way is a very common phrase if you didn’t know! Referring to your post, by wishing the lads good luck, we are simply hoping that nothing happens beyond their control (freak injuries can happen), everything goes to plan and nothing goes wrong!

One thing that I do know is that we won’t die trying… everything will be left on the pitch

Let’s not go leaving it to ‘luck’ though hey!! I don’t want to be saying in a few weeks, ‘oh weren’t we unlucky’!!!

Come on boys, we can do this!!! Adam Warlow to bag another 4 hat-tricks, and JK another 4 clean sheets!!

RED ARMY!!!

Robbo, I am going to test your “Luck” theories on Saturday. As my son and grandson in Birmingham are poorly I am not going down this weekend after all. Consequently I shall be present on Saturday. If the team can overcome this “threat” then they will assuredly be champions at the end of the month!!
WHS.

Good luck to the team for tommorow and the rest of the season…we WILL win the league!!
