Three defeats on the bounce so we can’t afford to lose this one. Crowd could be low as well due to Xmas shoppers obeying their loved ones ? We have got to keep in touch with the leading pack and be in with a chance of getting out of this damn awful league.
I’m sure we’ll win! Three defeats on the bounce but two were cup games against teams from higher leagues, one being a magnificent fighting ten man pritch in nets display! and one league defeat away by the odd goal. We have no “right” to win games even at this wretched level, but I’m sure we have a good enough team to mount a genuine challenge for automatic promotion! THEN the stayaways will start coming back…COME ON THE ALBIOOOOON!!
May still be early in the season for the statement but I think this is down as a ‘must win game’ Our League form in the last 8 games has been patchy W4 D1 L3, but with us exiting two cup competitions the league can now very much be concentrated on.
All we need to do is recreate the performance of the last home game against Sheffield.
Ah thanks Dodger I must have gotten carried away what with AFC Fylde’s massive ambition an all!! I had forgotten we were actually higher up in t’ pyramid!!
As for the old “must win” I’ve said it many a time before myself, trouble is if you lose a “must win” game it’s a bit of a bugger really, a win tomorrow (fog permitting) would be massive tho! COME ON ALBIOOOOON!
