Oh ye of little faith!!!
WHS.

SUPER result roll on Tuesday !

The right result in the end. Brad Maylett got a shot in from the edge of the box, the 'keeper could only parry it, and Mose was there to stick it away.

Stuart Rudd got sent off for two bookings, probably deserved, but fortunately we were already 1-0 up.

Up the Albion!

Another brilliant result! Come on the Albion!

Gritty performance today and a typical Super Mike strike for the goal. Attendance 206 of which there must have been 40 LOYAL Wittoners. Don’t remember Joe Glagg making a save and the only scare was a Pete Heler pass back in added time.

MOM Got to be MM - worked his socks off and scored as well.

Very impressed with the set up at Grantham. Why can’t Northwich Council do something similar for the community of Mid Cheshire ?

Because they are Tories and support Northwich Vics.
WHS.

Grantham’s messageboard reports that they didnt have a single shot in the whole 90 minutes.

An excellent win, well done Gary and the Lads.
I know we always criticise the refs but this one had the same shirt on as the home team!
There was the most outrageous example of a club collectively cheating in collusion with a complicit set of officials as they all switched to a European style multiball system in order to speed up play as they pushed for an equaliser.
I’ve said before that we can’t expect low grade non league officials to get everything right in open play but to allow repeated rulebreaking every time the ball went out of play in the last 10 minutes was disgraceful. It’s as well that it didn’t cost us.

Have to agree about the multiball at the end, there were two balls on the pich at one point, absolute joke.
Another ugly away win, quite a boring game, not many shots, Cleggy was never troubled.
Heler nearly blew it for us at the end with a moment of madness but glad we held on for the 3 points. Good banter between the fans and a nice ground if it wasnt for the race track. Didnt see Rudds 2nd yellow, bit of a blow but gives Boothy a chance to come back in.
6 wins 4 defeats in the league so far, and i dont think we are anywhere near our best yet, big game on Tuesday 3 points would be massive.

COME ON WITERRRRRNNNNNNNNNN

Ruddy received a late tackle, just as he was clearing the ball. Their player jumped up from the floor, straight into Ruddy’s face. Ruddy took hold of him by the throat and threw him away. Their player went down like a lead balloon…all seen by the linesman.

Its harsh to see our player get his 2nd yellow, when we get the free-kick!

Unfortunately that is entirely consistent with the poor standard of the officials.
Time after time Unibond officials seem incapable of being even handed.
If we accept they are never going to excel we can at least hope they are fair to both teams.
How does the duration of a minutes silence/applause for some dead bloke always last longer than any minutes added on?
Why does Grantham’s unskilled physical play result in fewer yellow cards than our cultured football?
Two balls on the pitch at one time wasn’t enough for the play to be stopped!
Perhaps the reknowned interbreeding in Lincolnshire means that any ref is going to be related to one or more members of any local club.
