Oh well 1-1 was my prediction and it’s still a good point at Grantham but shame to concede so late on UTA

According to Witton fans who were there, the signal was for 5 added minutes but they scored in the 97th.

I am amazed that 5 minutes plus extra 2 minutes of extra time was played in 2nd half .There were no injuries and no medical care provided . 7 minutes seemed excessive IMHO

No signal of added time at the end. Ref added 2.5 minutes for subs and bookings. Rest for time wasting, including the excessive goal celebration. Equaliser came just after 5 minutes of added time. Ref blew pretty straight away. Witton had the better chances in the game, but Grantham showed you don’t give up until the final whistle goes.

Entertaining and a tough encounter. Enjoyed it but the afternoon was marred by some alleged incidences. The mood in social club was sombre post match so I decided to go to the coach sooner.
Still great 1 point. UTA.

How do you account for the fact then that two Witton players were booked in the 96th minute, if he didn’t play that long.

Simples… booked for moaning about the equaliser in the 5th minute of added time! Pair of them. Game restarts, whistle goes shortly after.
