Halloween Disco Saturday 31st October

As you are all aware the “Dev Fund” have organised the above event , there are still tickets available so dont panic, or you could always pay on the door, the reason for this posting is to appeal for Raffle prizes,Medium size Pumpkins to be used as table decorations (You dont have to carve them out)or crisps and nibbly bits,If you could bring any of these items to tuesdays game, give them to Annmarie or Jim it would be appreciated. We have also arranged for a Mini-Bus to do some “Local” drop offs on the night, so if you can get yourself there we will get you back home, drunk, hopefully!Scaaarrryy :woohoo:

me and gray will be there… can you put us down for 2 tickets pleasee?

I have asked the Guardian to print details in the Witton Albion section this week. Please come out and support this night, all the do’s organised by JAP have always proved to be excellent value for money and they are the lifeline that allows the club to sustain a challenge for promotion

In Paris visiting my son and grandson on this night but I will be at the ground tomorrow night with a bottle for the raffle.
WHS.

Jim,

If Emma hasn’t already contacted AM via facebook, can we have 4 tickets please? Can’t make tonight so pick them up sat?

Cheers

Dann

Mention for Jim,Annmarie & others for organising another great do. Don’t know how much they made but their efforts are really appreciated and deserve more support. :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Thanks Eli, Your comments are much appreciated by all concerned, as for the amount raised, yet again a “FAN-tastic” effort by the “Few but faithfull” managed to claw in £323, thats after paying out £150 for the disco, everything else ie Room, Raffle Prizes,Decorations,Nibbles etc etc were donated by “Wittoners”.
A massive £100 of that figure was raised by the “666” ticket auction, Simon did a great job in pursuading Drew, Greg,Chad and Phil to part with there (I nearly said hard earned sorry Chad!)cash, and a big thanks to Graham who, on behalf of the Club donated the Signed shirt and Matchday hospitality package.
The remainder was made up of Ticket and Raffle money and donations from a special section of “Wittoners” who cant make the events but recognise the importance of these events to the club and feel the need to give there support, they usually remain nameless but ask me any Tuesday or Saturday who they are and i will tell you with pleasure, I may have to charge you for the info, well it is Witton what did you expect
Next scheduled event will be the “Winter Ball” on Saturday 19th December, this is a Great night but you will need to order your tickets well in advance, there will be more info on this site later on ,possibly when my “Halloween hangover” stops me feeling like ive got a Pumpkin for a head, over to you Eli!

‘Hard Earned’ - I resemble that remark James

Echo the above sentiments, fantastic night, good mix of people, as ever could have done with more people there - Its always pleasing to see the amount of non-Wittoners who come to these events and have a great time!!!

Well done to Jim and co, who really has been the driving force behind the Wincham Park Development Funds fundraising activities this season.

Please support the Winter Ball, bring your friends, work colleagues and neighbours, the Night is superb, and you will not be disappointed.

Up The Albs

Just to add my thanks to the gorgeous Jim Powell and his helpers for another successful event which deserved more support than it got.
The profits will go towards the Dev funds weekly support of the playing budget so many thanks to those who contributed in any way.

Well done to all involved, I didn’t attend as I have become a social recluse!! I note our manager (who as my previous posts will confirm I believe ought to have our support NOT insults!!) says in Saturdays programme that the playing budget has “unfortunately been cut twice, a month after he took over and again in the summer”. Well we went down!! and does he really appreciate the efort of the Development fund and individual contributions to the budget? I think he is doing really well by the way with the limited funds available so COME ON THE ALBS!!! Manager, players, fans, grumblies and all !!! lets get another win in the cup and get back up to where we belong!!

Going by the gates we are currently getting we will be lucky if the wage bill is not cut again, that is why winning in both league and FA Trophy are crucial to our promotion drive. Winning in the league will hopefully bring back some supporters and winning in the FA Trophy will bring in much needed cash through the sponsorship and the gates.
