has the website been updated?

Thanks Mike. My comments on the navigation were posted last night and I am finding the site much easier to use today. Hope to see you at WP soon, thanks again for providing a platform where all wittoners can voice their opinions and views outside the stadium on match day. UTA

I’ve increased the size of the text on the ‘Boardroom Latest’ module on the home page. Looks fine here, hope it is ok for everyone. Please let me know if there are any problems.

There used to be a “Reply” and “Quote” button to respond to a particular thread or post but now it just seems “Quick Reply” is the only way to respond. And when you do a “Quick Reply” it suggests that you are only responding to the person that posted previously. Just an observation Mike, and I still can’t see the emotions anywhere? The boardroom latest text and avatars on the homepage are still small too (maybe its my PC).

Also there used to be an Edit button in case you wanted to amend your post, but it doesn’t seem to be there now

If you click the ‘Action’ button next to ‘Quick Reply’ you will get the ‘Quote’, ‘Reply’, ‘Edit’ and ‘Delete’ options. At the bottom right of the quick reply box there is a link to the full editor, which is also what you get when you use ‘Action’ then ‘Edit’. This is fairly well featured and this is where you will find the emoticon button I referred to above. I think the fact that it looks like you are replying to the author of a post has always been a ‘feature’ of this software, maybe it just stands out more now? I know I’ve seen it commented on before on the forum software’s webpage.

The heading text for the boardroom latest module has been increased in size, if anyone is still getting very small text then they will need to clear their browser’s cache, there is nothing i can do at this end, it is purely a local browser issue. Hadn’t increased the avatar size on the front page module as I didn’t want it to take up too much screen space.

Ahhhh I see :clap :clap :goal

Regarding avatars, they do not appear on forum pages when the site switches to ‘mobile’ mode (ie. small screens / windows). This is deliberate as it reduces the bandwidth needed to display the pages and thus increases the loading speed.

:goal bowdown bowdown just a case of trail and error. lets see what this does thanks mike

The Avatars now look great, much better than on the old site B)

Is there any way that the WAFC badge or a pic of WP/the team could be placed in the blank space at the top of the homescreen/each thread topic? I’m now going wayyyy beyond my IT knowledge but something along those lines would be brilliant and make the site look amazing, if at all possible bowdown bowdown UTA

Thanks Mike for your hard work on this. As i’m not really into this computer lark I had to google toolbar to find the emoticons. Now that I know that they are safe and well I may finally get a good nights sleep.bowdown

Good point 2 Trains - a big thanks to Mike for all your hard work on the website - we mustn’t lose sight of the amount you do to keep us up to date and how important a part oif the Albion this site really is !!

[strike]still no last post function, no avatars and the first line of a post disappears under the posters name. How do I post a screen shot and I’ll show you what I mean [/strike]

On the page detailing the individual areas of the site it does not indicate if their is anything new to view, for instance "Pre Match Chat " you have to click onto it before it says if there is anything new, can this be changed back to the old system which saved a lot of time.
WHS.

WHS there is a recent topics banner at the top, click in this and all the latest are there even tells you how long ago it was posted.

It was the number that was missing, there now.
