Witton make the trip south down the M6 on Saturday, when they travel to Hednesford Town in an Evo-Stik Premier Division fixture. The Pitmen had a difficult start to the season after ending last season in fourteenth place, and go into the game one place lower this time around. Their uncomfortable opening to the campaign eventually saw manager Neil Tooth exit Keys Park and the return of Rob Smith with his assistant Larry Chambers, for another spell in charge. Their appointments have seen an upturn in the club’s fortunes on the pitch in recent weeks, having won three of their last five games including both of the previous two. Witton visit Keys Park for the first time in five years and on the back of four defeats in a row but, will be doing their utmost to put an end to their present run. Hednesford will be looking to continue their recent good form but the game will prove difficult for both sides. Kick off at Keys Park is 3pm.
