I was chatting today to some of the young people promoting this event at todays game, I asked why it wasn’t in the Guardian this week, I was told that they circulated all the Guardian group in the local area and the only edition to put nothing in was Northwich - WHAT A DISGRACE!!! this obvious prejudice towards Witton Albion is now beyond a joke when they won’t even help promote an event like this because its being held at Wincham Park- I can think of no other reason.
Spread the Word - The Northwich Vics Guardian does not support our troops
Probably a lot of people who read the northwich guardian sitting at home today unaware of this charity event resulting in less revenue for a very worthy cause.
Absolutely unbelievable! the so called local rag should be ashamed of themselves!!
What also seems strange is our Beer Festival is to be found on page 14, I think it should have been in the sports section as it surely would have been if it had been at Vics.
WHS.
Surely hitting the target audience would be if it was advertised in the sports section? I think stayaway Wittoners, people that can’t make games (like myself atm) would me more likely to be inticed if it was read in the part of the paper they are mostly interested in ie the sports section. Lets be honest the Northwich Guardian is not the paper it once was, if you read some of it you might as well read the whole thing anyway  I don’t think there are that many “beer enthusiats” in Northwich that would be too bothered if they read it in the sports section or page 14 anyway, if they want to go they will do. Hopeffully it will be a sucessful event which will benefit the club, i certainly hope so.
I notice the guardian website are advertising a party at the green elephant on the royal wedding day, no doubt with the proceeds raised going to v!cs.
Shame they couldn’t of done the same for our Help 4 Heroes charity event yesterday where the proceeds raised went to charity.
