Telford sign Moore from Tamworth <br> <br>AFC Telford United have signed striker Lee Moore from Conference club Tamworth for a joint club record fee. <br>The 21-year-old forward has joined the Unibond Premier Division leaders for ?5,000 on an 18-month contract. <br><br>"We are absolutely delighted. As late as Wednesday night the deal was dead," said Telford chairman Lee Carter. <br><br>"The negotiations were painful but we’ve got our man. Yes maybe but while people keep going across the canal to support the scum and we dont get much coverage in the local press it isnt going to happen so weve got to just keep playing as we are at the moment and then everyone will come round to their senses and realise we r playing some decent attractive football and come and watch us!! and then we may be able to make big signings but at the moment i feel weve got a decent enough squad anyway!!
