Telford at home in the next round!
Thanks Jeff. I guess the saving grace here is a good gate again hopefully if we can beat Harrogate. I don’t think Telford are unbeatable either and if we raise our game like we did on Saturday there is always a chance of progressing and getting some more cash!! I thought we looked really solid on Saturday and when Stott came on we really looked a threat. I’d keep the same team but with Stott starting and you always have Calum on the bench if we need a bit more flair and Frosty if Stott has to come off later. All in all we don’t have a bad squad now and I like the look of Foulkes in midfield and Maguire was again outstanding but all the lads put in a shift Saturday to give one of the best displays of the season!! Onward and upward lets hope we can get through then shock Telford and get Wrexham in the next round!!
I see Vics luck has run out and they are away again to Worcester. That could be interesting as Preece used to manage them!!
Mixed feelings on the draw, an excellent one finacially but a very tough one to win. I would have liked this one in about the 3rd round after we had bagged a few more grand ! anyway it certainly makes Wednesdays game worth a lot more than the 4k prize money.
Pressure, can we handle it? The supporters I mean, I’m sure the players will handle it.
