James Olsen.
His free kick hit the wall, and came back to him to slot it home.

Decent performance, played well in patches putting some good passing moves together. Ilkeston looked a good team, the chances they got they put away and they defender very well. As Danny saig Greg Smith made one good save. They didnt have a large number of chances, Greg never had that much to do apart from the goals but dont think he could have done much about any of them.

Second half looked good going forward but never took our chances also a bit unlucky. Good finish from Olsen. A closer game than the score suggests, fans who made the trip were great.

Rooney looked usefull (Never thought i’d see that name on a witton team sheet)

We missed Thomo and Gary Scott lets hope there fit for Saturday.

KTF, Come on the Abion!!!

Are we playing cammell Laird on tues at WP, or not?

i believe so Stu

Ste
decent performance,???

And.

a decent performance might have been when we beat them at home, did I read the result wrong I thought we got beat again!

After we beat ilkeston at WP didnt everything go down hill from there, with nige in charge? What has gary changed ?
We are now knocking at decembers door, most important month.

Compared to some of the stuff we have watched this season we didn’t play as badly as 3-1 suggests. Chances for both sides were few and far between and we needed to take one of our at 1-0/2-0

We are starting to look a better team all round the park but its goingto take time

Stu, It was not a bad performance compared to what i and other people have seen this season. The effort was there and we created a number of chances that we should have taken. If you read my post i wrote “A closer game than the score suggests”. The difference being between the teams they took there chances, simple as that.

Ilkeston are a good side and it was always going to be tough to get anything from this fixture.

The next few games we have a realistic chance of picking up some points, starting on Saturday against Boston.

And yes we do play Cammel Laids on Tuesday in the league cup.

Danny the White Pele one has already been done… He goes by the name of Mike Moseley…

I hope to be there on Tuesday.
