As it hasn’t already been mentioned on here we are having an information meeting next Thursday 7th August in the Social club at 8pm.
This will include a further update on progress since the last info mtg - (alot has happened!) and will include some questions with Nige and if I’ve been informaed correctly a chance to meet a couple of the players.
Sorry, away on holiday in France with my grandson that week. I will be making a small donation to the fund soon and I will be putting some stuff in the re-cycle bin when it is up and running. I have less on my plate this year so I hope to be at the ground more and I may be able to do the gate on some occasions.
WHS.
Thanks to all those who took the trouble to attend last night.
There were some very smart people who were first to be wearing their new Adidas shirts (yellow is definitely Eli’s colour)!!!
For those that were unable to attend then a full written update of progress written by Mark Harris will appear in the (new look) Albion Review at Tuesday’s game versus Manchester City. Be sure to get your copy!
I think beyond any doubt last night showed the resilience of Witton as a club and group of supporters, there is a tremendous ‘team spirit’ throughout, it was good to see that this is already starting to build with the new squad who appear to be developing good relationships (apart from Rod and Ben for quarrel constantly - but probably have done for the last 30 years)!!!
Remember Nantwich and Runcorn are both using Wincham Park this evening and tomorrow respectively, if you offer any help then message Neil through the website or contact me for more details.
I wouldn’t necessarily class myself as looking smart but I must say that the new shirts are absolutely top class!
Was good to hear from the new players and there was plenty of banter which was good to see. Nige was very positive so there’s no reason why we shouldn’t be.
Yes - Good meeting last night and well presented by the Rabbit. Sad to find that Gary Scott misses the first 3 games thro’ suspension but I suppose it gives Nige a chance to blood a youngster. After what i heard " off the record " last night we are ALL going to have to PUSH in the right direction to get this club back where it belongs. Never has the quote " KEEP THE FAITH " been more poignant.
