Witton’s Under 21’s Development Squad are in action on Thursday night when they travel to Irlam FC in a North West U21 Development League Premier Division fixture. Fourth-placed Irlam have started the season in good form, having won their previous two games and have only been beaten once in their opening seven league games. Witton have shown a big improvement over the past few weeks after having a disappointing start to their league campaign and will go into the game with renewed confidence following their first win of the season against St Helens Town and four points from two matches. Irlam will be a tough test for Witton but they will be looking forward to imposing themselves on the game and hopefully continuing the recent good form. Kick off at Ambitek Stadium is 7.30pm.
