Irlam FC vs Witton Albion Youth

Witton Albion Youth are in action on Sunday afternoon, when they travel to Irlam FC in a North West Youth Alliance fixture. The Manchester -club are currently joint leaders with Heswall FC but trail them on goal difference, having identical playing records to date. Witton are sitting fifth in the league table but are ten points adrift of their opponents and have two games in hand. Irlam haven’t played for two weeks so will be looking to continue their good form whilst Witton will be hoping to close the gap on the leading clubs. Irlam’s last outing saw them overcome higher-ranked Salford City on penalties, following a 2-2 draw in the Under 18’s Youth Cup, so Witton face a difficult test but will be looking to impose themselves on the game. Kick off at Ambitek Stadium is 2pm.
