Having watched last night’s highlights there were two clear penalties not given and the corner which led to the goal was never a corner. There is also a little used offence called “obstruction”, if Caldwell wasn’t intentionally obstructing De Gea then what was he doing there?
That said I do hope Wigan avoid relegation. Stuart Hall’s reports from the People’s Republic of Wigan are pure gold.
Fergie finally admitted what NO manager ever does, that these decisions even them selves out over the season, confirmed by United and Wigan’s previous games. As I have said before I have hated United almost as long as I have hated Vics. I hated them when they got relegated in the 1970’s so it is not envy. I hated them when they couldn’t win the league for over twenty years so I can honestly say I am a fully paid up member of a very large club called “WE HATE UNITED”. It is strange, other supporters tend to dislike other clubs, but it is only United they truly hate, even Liverpool in the 70’s and 80’s weren’t hated like you are. Put it down to envy if it makes you happy, but I have to tell you I have never envied United supporters., felt sorry for their sad delusions but never envied them.

Being a Witton fan has taught me to treat victory and defeat as part of life, being the supporter of United is just the refuge of people who are rarely successful themselves so they cling on to others coat-tails.
