Does anyone have any memories and details of Jack Trainer’s time spent at Witton, circa 1984. Any details of Halifax Town’s former centre-half would be useful for a piece I’m trying to put together for programme notes.
Johnny<br><br>If Jack Trainer was at Witton he certainly never played for us in any competitive matches.<br><br>Whether he was in a Asst manager, Coach or some other general temporary position I’m also unable to confirm.<br><br><br><br>
Thanks for that. He played for Morecambe between 1982 and 1984, and a contact at their club reckoned he joined Witton after leaving Morecambe, but they couldn’t really confirm it. Looks as if you just have!!
