I just hope that the Halifax fans know what they are letting themselves in for. The consortium there are going to need deep pockets too. I see that there fans are hoping that players from Witton are going to join Jim there!!! They are obviously not aware that they are now scattered across several North West non league clubs and were actually helped by JV!

Toe I know people have got a right to see what he said but there is no point in bringing it all up again. All we do on here is keep going over the same old thing Jim is a snake and we hope he rots in hell blah blah blah. I think that we have heard enough of Jim’s lies. He loves the club, he wants what’s best for the club, he’ll help Nige in whatever way he can, he can’t stay on in the job as it’ll take him 6 months to get over his Op and it wouldn’t be fair on the club…etc etc etc…

I personally dont agree with it.
I saw the post, can’t remember what it said, but i do remember wondering how he had the cheek to come backo n here and post something like that after what he has done to the club. It is probably for the best htat it got deleted to be honest, it would have only stirred up more arguments and hate towards ‘him’.
I’ve already put my foot in it with my Clumsy Liam Watson post this week in which a certain faction of our club seemed to think I was degrading Nige which was’nt the case. The fact that a post has been put on here by JV and taken off again tells me that thats why I’m wanting to walk away from the club a little.At the risk of getting certain people really angry I would say that if you want a club to run on democratic lines then why should a post be removed unless of course its obscene or slandering. They used to have a bloke called Goerbells during the war who censored everything so that the German people only got to hear what Hitler wanted them to hear.
It now seems that this forum and indeed our club is now administered by certain people who are censoring certain things.I dare say they might be good reasons why JV’s post was taken off so fair enough. I will probably be shot down in flames for this post but to be honest I think everyone is now fully aware of the part he’s played in the current situation the club finds itself in and I’m sure we can make our own minds up on anything JV might or might not say!! OK I can see the argument for moving on and being positive but we are now talking about something more fundemental within the club. Its called Free Speech and having an opinion This seems to have got lost over the last few weeks. I do agree with the Robbo’s, Rabbits, Greenies, Gregs and Stu’s that we need to move forward but also you somtimes do need to rake over the past to learn any lessons to help the going forward process.Good Luck hope this is one “Red Army” that will do well!!
Sorry everybody, I’m to blame.
I was one of the first to read the post. It didn’t say much other than that he’d been appointed the manager of Halifax Town, and that he wished Witton Supporters all the best for next season under the guidance of Mark and Nige.
It wasn’t the content, but just the person who had posted it, that I thought would get everybody upset all over again. We’ve lost too many good people over this guy, and I suggested to the ADMIN guys that it would be better if it was deleted before all the old animosities started all over again.
Sorry if my suggestion has upset anybody. It was done in good faith, with the well being of the club at heart.
I dont understand why everyone thinks something underhand is going on. We have wasted too much time and energy on that LOSER move on.

The reason it was taken off is due to it doing nothing more than stirring up more ill feeling.
It really is time for everyone to move on.
I wish he’d had more courtesy when he decided to pull our squad apart. 6 months out, what a joker. This guy made everybody believe he was a winner when in fact he is certainly one of life’s losers
he first line gets me… Courtesy and Respect… I had to check what date it is, as i thought it was an April fool’s!!!
