Understand that Ian Kearney having been feted by a number of Conf North clubs has decided to travel 400 metres over the bridge - thought he had more about him than that.
LEOPARDS OBVIOUSLY DON’T CHANGE THEIR SPOTS

Hold the front page! Ian Kearney in No Loyalty shocker!
Hardly worth losing any sleep over. He’ll be somewhere else when someone throws an extra 7 pounds at him.
I don’t think anybody at the club honestly expected him to stay.
HUGE error in judgement to make him captain last season.
PS ; Good to see CS back on the forum.
Welcome back Cuddy Well Kearney off over the cut might have been offered a few more £`s but will he get paid
well at least we have kept the better centre back in ben harrison. good riddance to kearney and good luck to ben.
They come, they go, they are rarely missed after a few weeks, but most regret leaving.

Very sad, as I liked Ian as a person aswell as a player.
To be honest, I was surprised that a player of his quality came back to us last season on a pittance of what he was worth.
Good Luck Ian for your future. If things dont work out at Northwich, I for one would welcome you back!
Malicious rumours my ar*e " Albion whoever" !
If the new central defensive partnership are on 3 figure wages then IK was not worth what he was asking !
You can almost “taste” the new football season!!!

I personally must agree with Thatchen Tavern. I enjoyed watching Kierney play. Not as good as the King though!!! I 4 2 would welcome him back. SBL
Why welcome him back, he was good but there are other good centre halfs abouit find a new one and lets rebuild and move on. Ian Who !!!
He’s gone, move on. Pritch is still with us as is Harrison, if we had to lose one of them I am glad it was Kearney, Pritch is a dyed in the wool Wittoner and Harrison has a much higher potential than Kearney.

It was’nt the money - he just wanted to play at a better stadium !
For what it is worth,Ian goes with my blessing.
I like the way he conducted himself on the pitch last year,a worthy captain of the club.
I think he has earned himself a move to a bigger club,it is a simple fact of life.I get the feeling Ian will always have a place in his heart for Witton, perhaps one day he will return.
Kearney to the scum is grossly disrespectful of the man.
But not to SCJM!! I hate Vics, always have, always will.
