Sad news, condolences to you and your family Mike

Really sorry to her this news Mike. Please accept my sincere sympathies to you and your family. I will miss Ken prowling round the ground being passionate about the the play on the field and urging the team on. Another legend has gone and Ken is a big loss to us. It highligts how we should all appreciate each other in supporting our great club as a lifetime is really only fleeting in terms of our overall history.
R.I.P. Ken we’ll miss you mate!!

My dad’s funeral will take place on Wednesday 15th June. There will be a service at Weaverham Parish Church (St. Mary’s) at 12:30 pm, followed by Committal at Walton Lea Crematorium.

Refreshments will be at Weaverham Cricket Club where he was a Life Member - all are most welcome.

Donations will go to Diabetes UK.

God bless you Mike and all the family, sad times having recently lost my dear mother too it isn’t easy. May your dad rest in peace.

On behalf of my mother and brother, may I thank all those who paid their respects to my father at his funeral service yesterday.

There was a great turn out of ‘Wittoners’ and I apologise for all those we did not get to thank personally; as there were so many people there we did not have time to get round everybody before we had to leave for Walton. It was a great comfort to us, and I know my mum was particularly pleased as she thought that as many of his contempories have passed on, and with the difficulty many have in getting time off work, there would not be very many people there.

Once again, our heartfelt thanks.

Mike.

Good men always get good tutn-outs.
