Kidsgrove Athletic vs Witton Albion

Witton travel to Kidsgrove Athletic on Wednesday night in a re arranged Evo-Stik Division One South fixture. The original game being postponed in December because of the weather. Kidsgrove have begun to find a bit of form in recent weeks and are in fact unbeaten since Boxing Day, having won each of their last three league games. They have also managed draws against promotion - hopefuls Spalding United as well as Play-off challengers Leek Town. Their improved form is partly due to the goals of experienced strikers Anthony Malbon and Harry Clayton, whilst a few recent additions have helped them progress. Witton go into the fixture, the third of three successive away games looking to close the gap on the top two and hopefully getting maximum points on the road again but Kidsgrove will be a tough test for the Albion. Kick off at The Novus Stadium is 7.45pm.

Come on Witton keep the winning run going, you can do it. UTA

This will be another tough test for our lads, Carl expects a tough one according to Simmo, we might be missing Devine who got injured on Saturday when Roberts and Tames also took knocks, hopefully they will be OK and we have Wilson back plus maybe another two new players ? Based on that and not knowing the new players I think we will go with :

Roberts
Gardner, Brown, Lycett, Wilson
Haywood, Williams, Owen, Bauress
Hopley, Tames

and a much stronger bench then previous games if the new players are available ! UTA

I heard Wilson was still unavailable tonight - my guess Haywood will drop back or Hickman to start

Tough one this, Last four games they have taken 10 points, scored 10 and conceded 5 . We have managed 9 points, scored 9 and conceded 5. Happy at this moment to take a point,

Looking forward to the match. They will want their revenge

Heard via the Witton jungle drums that Roberts suffered a bad injury against Basford on Saturday and will be out of action for a while. Nobody else has mentioned it though so hopefully it’s hearsay
