'KitAid' collection at the Witton v Sheffield game

:cheer: Witton Albion F.C. will be holding a kit collection for ‘KitAid’ at this coming Saturday’s UniBond League Division One South clash against fellow promotion challengers Sheffield F.C. (Kick-off 3 p.m.)

The charity, which has Graham Taylor O.B.E. as its Patron, collects no longer wanted football kit and sends it to less privileged children and adults across Africa, India and other developing countries.

Supporters are requested to clear out their cupboards and donate any clean unwanted football kit (shirts, shorts and socks) to this latest appeal.

Kits can be dropped off at the collection point that’s being set up in the Club Shop at Wincham Park on Saturday 28th November 2009.

Or failing that, kit can be sent to:- ‘KitAid’ c/o Veolia Water Central Limited, Tambin Way, Hatfield, Hertfordshire. AL10 9EZ

Sheffield have been on the phone tonight, and mentioned they are bringing a box of kit aid to the game.

B) Thanks to everyone who donated items of old kit on Saturday. In total we collected over fifty items (shirts, shorts, pairs of socks and footballs), including a number of Manchester United shirts very kindly donated by Sheffield F.C.

Sheffield FC’s President Alan Methley hands over some kit to Saturday’s ‘KitAid’ collection at Witton Albion.

 In the event that anyone still has any old kit, but missed the Sheffield FC game, it can still be handed in at the Club Shop or at the Club Office at the game this weekend.
