2 up and a missed penalty in the first 30 minutes why Gardiner didnt take it, ehmm,
A lot of the team under performed today after the first half hour, no names they know who they are.
Wish it had been a league game that prize money will be sorely missed.
Kendal deserved their victory and it could have been by a larger margin.
First away defeat since November so something is right, must be really up for it for 90 minutes next week otherwise its the Cheshire Senior cup or nothing, Sorry and League cup and Midcheshire cup, are Stafford in it this season ?
 Why is the sick code green ?
Green is always sick .
Can’t believe we lost that one! When we kicked off it looked like we would batter them then it all went wrong! A missed penalty (again) didn’t help. 3 of their goals came down the right hand side and they could have had another couple. Don’t know if Sheeny and cross have the legs for midfield and wonder if Fleetwood would lend Titch back to us just for a Saturday afternoon as he isn’t appearing for them :S
Not the first away defeat since November…we lost at Kendal in the league cup last season. Still unbeaten in the league since November.
At 2 each we should have accepted we were second best and tightened up. Could have had another go at them on Tuesday at WP.
I hope the disappointment didn’t take the shine off the players’ night out in Liverpool.
Not sure why when we are in front and then concede we fall to pieces. Start to panic play long high balls to the opposing centre halfs and in general make poor decisions when we have possession. It was really frustrating yesterday as I don’t think Kendal played that well. I don’t think we are as fluid with cross in the centre. Is fallon carrying a knock? Not sure why else he would have been dropped to the bench. Also thought glover was unlucky not to start after he played well on Tuesday. We were always going to miss titch because he gave us so much more than the goals he scored. Think we’re also really missing ollie james. But if this is the bad patch for the season and we’re only 3pts off the top can’t really complain. As for the £4500 if we get an extra 500 full paying adults across the season then that covers it.
UTA
Yes definitely think Fallon should start he works hard and is a skilful player. Josh Glover was unlucky not to start but there again I would say that Boothy was the best defender yesterday!
Well that was er… Interesting. First 25 minutes we were brilliant, playing to our potential. Unfortunately, from then on it was all downhill.
For a team that the supporters often praise for being courageous and spirited, it was pathetic. Defensively we were all over the place, so out of sync you’d think it was a completely new back four. The moment we went 3-2 down, we were never getting back in the game, not a chance.
It’s hard to ignore the fact we have only kept one clean sheet all season, definitely a cause for concern. Ah well, hope they enjoyed their night out…
I backed Witton to win the league at 40-1 but even I expected some bad results. It happens, sad it was an FA cup tie with money at stake but I back these lads to bounce back against Blythe and to keep us up there in the league.
WHS.
Again we surrendered a 2 goal lead and in the end got spanked! Why we cannot score penalties defeats me. At 3 0 the game would have been over. For once our defence looked as fragile as a 200 year China doll and the midfiled and forwards were on the whole ineffective in the second half. Kendal seems an unlucky ground for us. They were no great shakes but could have won by more! SBL

Try this one ME .sick
Yes save the green one for you know who, they have plenty to be sick about we just lost s football match.
WHS.
Its the way we lost. Not the fact we did, we can all except defeat. It’s football it happens.
I can’t except it. No matter how hard i try.
Hopefully i’ll find some way to accept it though.
There should have been a night out in Liverpool IF WE WON, must have been a bit of a damp squib after losing like that! Let’s hope we can bounce back against Blyth in the Trophy…WEM-BER-LEY!!!
Haha my bad! Shocking use of the English language.
Agree with most of what has already been said. First 25 mins I was thinking of the next round, Kendal were at 6s and 7s and it looked like we would be out of sight by half time but once again an opposition goal completely took the wind out of our sails. Much like at buxton, as soon as they scored it felt like only one team was in it.
I left the ground thoroughly annoyed with the performance and wondering how we had contrived to lose it. 1st and 3rd goal were almost identical which is unacceptable. I don’t know if cross was/is fully fit but he seemed well off the pace in the second half.
I don’t know what it is about the lack of composure once we concede but its something that needs nipping in the bud.
Still think that if we can take full advantage when we’re on top and put away our chances (penos included) then there is no reason why we can’t match every team in this league.
Can’t say I agree with trying to find a scapegoat (and it’s hardly motivational for the team having a go at individuals ).need to look at the tactics ,letting comfortable leads slip.THere also seems a reluctance to rest people and give others a chance.already seen SChoey and LIam leave.with no competition for places some players have nothing to fear .as for the pens…
With regards to resting people until Chorley the team was unbeaten. I bet if the team was changed you would be asking why a winning team was getting changed around.
For me Liam and Schoey left too soon. It’s going to be a long season and they would have got a chance to impress. In my opinion they were impatient.
I do think there is no harm in getting a few more younger players in to give the squad a bit of depth. Plus we still have Joe Shaw to come back who I believe will bring something different to the team

There are a couple in the reserves who catch the eye, and i’ve seen Pritch down there watching them, so maybe one or two will get drafted in as the season progresses?
To be honest, in my opinion it is a couple of older heads we need to give the team that bit more experience - mainly of how to grind out wins in games where we don’t see so much of the ball.
What I would give for a Pritchard, Connors and Moseley of 2007/9 vintage…
