Witton Albion return to league action on Saturday afternoon when they travel north to take on Lancaster City at the Giant Axe.
Carl Macauley’s side will be buoyed by Tuesday night’s 3-0 triumph over Northwich neighbours 1874 in the semi-final of the Mid-Cheshire District FA Senior Cup, with the majority of the first team squad getting a valuable run-out after a few weeks without many matches.
The Albion squad has been strengthened with the addition of right-back Travis Johnson on loan from EFL club Crewe Alexandra.
The 19-year-old has arrived at the club on loan until the end of the season and will go straight into the squad for this fixture.
Lancaster currently sit just outside the play-off positions in the BetVictor Northern Premier League in 6th, only goal difference puts them behind present fifth-place occupants Nantwich Town.
14 points better off than Albion, the Dolly Blues have also played three games more than Witton.
In midweek, they made it through to the final of the Lancashire FA Challenge Trophy with a 1-0 win over fellow NPL side Atherton Collieries, although last weekend, they suffered a 1-0 loss at home to Gainsborough Trinity in the league.
Kick-off for this one is at 3:00pm.
