leek v fleetwood

Leek are 1-0 up:laugh:

foster has just equalised according to cod web site

It is now 2-1 to Fleetwood, why does God hate Witton?
WHS.

:frowning: I can’t watch, the air is blue in here!!

gutted:(

To the gentleman who asked me on Saturday if I still believed I was a Jonah, yes of course I am. I stayed away all season, team top of the league, I came back and team no longer top. I will NOT be going to the game on Saturday, nor will I be going to any play off games. I live in hope that it is me that is cursed and not Witton.
WHS.

Well who would have thought it:laugh: Hope you win the playoffs though you deserve it.

COD PIECE , YOU ARE DOING US NO FAVOURS WITH POSTS LIKE THIS.

A great turnout tonight to support Leek Town. I counted about 20 Wittoners at the game shouting come on the blues. We even had 3 players there…Rod Thornley, with his wife and dad, Alex Brown, with his dad (I think I heard his dad offering Neil some help during the close season) and Macca.

A pity that Frosty didnt get on and score a late equliser. Talking to him, he was definetley up for it.

Seeing players at the game made me feel humble. What a great set up we have. I hate to see negative vibes. Keep it positive, and we will keep our manager, keep our great players, and increase our fan base.

It’s out of our hands now, so we may need to win via the play offs. So be it. If we don’t suceed, then it wont be for the wont of trying. I can’t wait for next season what ever league we are playing in. I just hope we don’t loose our great management team, nor our great players, who have so entertained us this year.

Full credit to Fleetwood for what they have done - who would of thought it indeed.

It is very hard to take, but they have won it rather than us losing it - so all we can do is congratulate them.

Can’t hear any fat ladies yet!

Although they may be clearing their throats…

Can’t see Fleetwood slipping up now but u never know in football. They do seem to have a team well equipped to get out of this league and with their resources I am sure they will add more strength to the team and do well in the BSN.

Beating us on Easter Monday has IMO been the deciding factor in them pipping us to win the league. As Sir Alex the worlds greatest manager says " you have got to beat or not lose to your main rivals to have any chance of winning the league ".
