WHS as soon as Mrs WHS is feeling ok get yiur ass down to Wincham Park.
It’s only banter u know. Witton needs all the fans it can get - no matter what their opinions.
From one old timer to another.

WHS, if i remember rightly alot of your letters to the Guardian last year were imploring the ‘stay aways’ to return to WP. Surely you aren’t now going to lower yourself to the point of actually being one of the stay away fans that you made such an effort to reach last season??
The team needs you there as often as you can get to WP.
Come on Greenie ask WHS back. Please !
I agree with Eli, Alan(WHS). The main thing is to get the Mrs fit as we might need her at centre forward anyway!! Seriously make sure Mrs WHS is ok and like ELI then make sure you attend future games and continue to post on the forum. Everyone is entitled to a view this forum is democratic. It would be Utopia if everyone agreed with everyone else and healthy debate never hurt anyone as long as we keep it non personal and not vindictive. Ok I don’t agree with everything you say but I know like me your heart is with Witton Albion FC and I for one would not like to lose any fan just because we don’t always agree in this forum which is full of banter anyway.I think maybe we should concentrate on Witton albion and not gloat so much in the difficulties at Vics. We need them anyway to survive as interest in both clubs promotes the fierce rivalry and hopefully good natured banter. So rise above it and don’t get upset turn up with the rest of us when committments allow!! I know this can be a problem as I have an elderly mum who sometimes has to come first before football though Bill Shanly would never have agreed with me.
To get this original subject back on course, have a look at what Andrew Simpson has put on the Guardian website today. I’m well impressed.

Agreed, the feature online is first class, however the MAJORITY of people we need to reach read the paper and my original point was regarding our profile in the Guardian.
Sorry young Chad but the future is the internet - as the Chronicle have realised - and it will not be long before the Guardian follows suit I think.
We need to be advertising Wittonalbion.co.uk more to attract young ones.
As u started this thread and ignited WHS can u try and get him back to WP.
Supporting Witton has never been by invitation only!!! Everyone has different opinions and any banter should be taken as just that. I just scrolled back through this post and it has never been suggested that anyone is unwelcome at the club, especially not loyal supporters that have watched the club all their life. Whatever league we are in this is a great period for the club, with an excellent squad, a good manager and growing support - I have said before that the standard of our football is great to watch and it is.
On a more serious note best wishes to WHS’s wife, I hope you and for that matter anyone else makes it to as many games as possible this season. The club needs more supporters not less. Without the support we don’t have the money or the motivation to get out of this league, we have to play a part in that progress!
Well well, very interesting. The football league tables are missing from today’s Guardian.
Is it because we are in 2nd spot and the scums are at the bottom ?
I think we should be told. >:(
However the headlines for the two teams, printed on adjacent pages, tell their own story…
Witton:
"Kendal can’t cope with Albion’s class"
and
"Peers bags a double as Albion stroll"
V*cs:
"Brayson piles on agony"
and
"Vics boss vows to get it right"
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
I liked the numbers bit - 1 - amount of points theyhave from 5 games!
